  1. He said he was hanging with his brother over the break, he probably got dome good training and focus tips with his brother eh?? 😮😊

  2. I think Robertson could be a valuable trading asset. Lots of teams could plug him into their Top-6 and have him play 20 minutes a night instead of 12 minutes. And, he'd probably score 20+ goals per season. But, if the Leafs give up Robertson they need to figure out a new plan for depth scoring.

  3. The "without Matthews" record will take a BIG hit this time round because the team is a lot different than earlier in the year.

  4. Tavares has 6 pts in his last 9 games, so a bit of a slump, but still, he's playing pretty good (not $11 Mil good, but hey…)

  5. Regarding Matthews – I think it's pretty clear at this point that he is playing injured, the Leafs have tried multiple times to rest him & it hasn't worked and likely will require offseason surgery. If it was a surgery he could recover from in a month and the Leafs could be confident he would be at 100% at the end of that month I think they would've done it in season and used that cap space at the deadline. If Sammy listened a little closer to Kyper instead of playing on his phone, I think he would have the same take on the situation. 🤣
