  1. I would also say that they had a very hard schedule from December all the way to the 4 nations tournament. I think the team needed a break, and as of right now, they are back at the top of their game.

  2. EVANS has a value above a second who needs a few years of growth. With a 4th line of Evans, Beck, and Armia it has a shutdown line that will score and replace any injured player in a pinch, TO ME IT's stupid to trade a player so important to our playoff needs. Evans , Beck and Armia are 3 solid scoring players and a shutdown line that scores like Carbaneau times 3. are we crazy. In a pinch you can compenially replace anyone except for the goalie and you will let him go for a second round pick that needs maturity for 2 to 3 Years. a shutdown line that scores like Carbaneau times 3. are we crazy. In a pinch you can compenially replace anyone beyond the goalie.

  3. Laine will be back, these pieces of his brilliance give me confidence. Greatest goal scorer of his generation.

  4. Habs 11-1 when Laine scores in a game. That goal went from a snap shot from Carrier, tips off the blade of Laine's stick, then ping pongs off Chatfield and then Rantanen into the net. Habs block around as many shots as shots allowed to the net. Only 3 non-goalie players did not block a shot.

  5. Great night by the 4th line. Dach wasn’t missed at all, Laine, Monty, Suzuki, Hutson, Slaf, Cole’s 200th point… A good night overall.

  6. Its Slaf. Once he starts banging and playing hard, the entire team feeds off it and its like a train that is unstoppable. I hope Slaf keeps playing like this. He has to keep his energy level up and the team will just follow.

  7. Is it me or the habs play better without Dach? Maybe the habs be better off moving Dach and finding themselves a second line center instead or replacing Evans and Armia , plus Kapanen and Hage aren’t bottom six, they’re offensive players

Beck showed his leadership right from the start . Asking sure he pointed out that he wasn’t his goal, very unselfish hard working player , minutes later Slafkovsky imitates him

Same thing happened last year when Dach was out , the habs lost but never gave up and stuck to the game plan . Tonight was the habs best game since 2021 , I’m the pessimist type but there’s nothing negative about tonight’s game

Finally a guy in Laval who develops players! Don’t think Vincent will be in the AHL for long , a team will snag him soon

  8. If they can show that they have real depth, we will be able to trade up for a top of the draft 1st round pick this summer and then we will be golden.

If they can't, no big deal we will have 2 to 3 1st round picks and we will develop them in our #1 AHL team to bolster the roster for years and years to come.

Heineman is a gift from the hockey gods and Slaf coming into his own is just so precious.

Many signs of good things to come.

  9. As I thought before the 4 nations. The habs were just tired during that slump. The compressed schedule against so many top contending teams just wore t he Habs and especially Laine who hadn't played in so long down. Laine played in the 4 nations but the schedule was much more relaxed.

  10. He keeps saying:
"There's so much we can talk about…"
Yah, we know, we get it !~!! That's why we're watching you 😅😇

  11. Guys! When the CH doesn't play the stupid 1 on 1 game they win, they have to stick to this and really hope St-Louis realizes it.
