The Necas trade wrecked the canes.
Ok, I'm seriously starting to think the Rantanen trade was a big mistake. We're averaging 1.875 goals a game with him in the lineup. The one game he recently missed, we scored 7. So far, he's made us worse. Any chance Colorado will take him back for Necas?

Hockey always change. Well for all the tricky stuffs from opponents.
For that you would have to be more than over experienced unless you were super good.
Never give up while doing lot of impossible things,defending,attacking,playing as a team and playing whitin.
Untill the start of the bad phase,never give up but it's more than that,even attacking,you have to win but how? Never forget that you have to win,never give up at a high level.
Now that the game is clear + extra stuffs,don't be too proud hockey is a team game.
Seems that playing with Nathan McKinnon made Rantanen better and not the other way around. Necas is dearly missed on the power play for entry. Drury is missed in the faceoff dots. Trading for a player that didn't know he gets traded is always a risk. Compounding is that he is asking 14+M $ which completely destroys the salary structure in the team. Mediocre performance and Luke warm statements are just the tip of the iceberg. I hope we can recoup a high draft pick and secure the playoffs despite these obstacles. The whole situation messes with the heads of the players. All the confidence we had prior to the trade is gone. SMH no bueno.
