This is the best thing that could have happened. He’ll sign a bridge deal now and the Oilers can still afford him.
I think you are wrong and being a Homer. His lazy mistakes lead directly to goals, these are simple things to clean up but he just won't do that. He doesn't pass the eye test whatsoever, no matter how you make the advance stats look. His offense barely outweighs his poor defence and he's basically Tyson Barry at this point except the fan base liked Barry!
