How Denver Broncos, Sean Payton Plan To Build Around Bo Nix At NFL Combine

How will Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton build around Bo Nix? With Payton and George Paton set to meet the media today at the NFL Combine, how they plan to build around Nix is something we hope we hear from the Broncos brain trust. How will Payton focus on adding his ‘Joker’ and could it be in-house with Jaleel McLaughlin or Blake Watson? How will the Broncos address linebacker and safety.

Cody Roark is a credentialed beat reporter for Mile High Sports and covers the Broncos daily in person. Sayre Bedinger is the site expert for Predominantly Orange. Both bring Broncos Country the most in-depth and objective coverage of the Denver Broncos.

  1. All this talk about getting a FA wide receiver is crazy IMHO. We had no running game and no reliable TE, and that left just the WRs to carry the offense, besides Bo. Get the right RB and TE and that will open up all the WRs for success. If we were to let Vele' or Franklin go to a more well rounded offense, they could be 1000 yard receivers.Draft our offense and get a safety, ILB and DT in free agency, if not later in the draft.

  2. Chargers pick way too close to the Denver Broncos. Colston Loveland
TE | Michigan is the best. But Emeka Egbuka
    WR | Ohio State
    Should be available.
If not, the freaking Chargers will get him

  3. Great show fellas. I feel confident that the Broncos will get the players they need, via free agency and the draft. We've got a solid front office, and a good coaching staff. Looking forward to hearing from Coach P. GO BRONCOS!!

  4. I really don't think broncos should put any trust into Alex singleton. He's older was already slow and coming off an ACL. I had my questions about him before the injury and now it is amplified. Especially on the money you can save at least cutting him even if you want to bring him back.

  5. I really a big fan of JL Skinner I think a big slot role would be great for him. Even taking out a MLB and putting him in during passing situations.

  6. They should have the opportunity to draft Texas S Jahdae Barron. He's a hybrid Safety/Nickel CB who's elite in coverage. He would bring an upgrade in coverage and versatility which VJ covets.

  7. Broncos could approach trying to sign a starting ILB and Safety. Then target a TE in Round 1. If the TE Payton wants is gone then target DL. They could then get a RB, TE, or Tez Johnson in round 2. Can even get a RB in Round 3.

At the end of the day I trust Paton and Payton to fill these needs in both draft and free agency.

Thank you guys for keeping football "alive" during this off-season!🫡

  8. Great to hear coach say Drew Sanders is expected to be a starter and will play at ILB — where he belongs.

  9. The chiefs are about done. Chris Jones is 35 yrs old and has a bad knee, and TE Kelce is running out of gas.
