Jets are a team of destiny. First team in NHL history to win back to back games while being down in the final minute, I'm a long time Jets fan and always waiting for the wheels to come off this season feels different.
Sucks about Copp. He was solid on defense with that line. Not a fan of the contract but I did appreciate his 200' play.
Kevyn Adams knew exactly what he was doing when buying out Skinner. For all the flack he gets, that was a wise decision.

Copp was one of the players that completely quit on Lalonde because he got demoted to the fourth line for being useless. He's played decent since the coaching change and since being promoted to the second line again but it's definitely not a terrible loss. Not much of a difference between him and JT Compher but neither is a second line center and both are over paid. Interesting with the cap space they got from trading Husso and with Copp going on LTIR Wings have almost exactly the amount of cap space for EP40 and Dylan Cozens is another option they've been looking at.

J Skinner has been decent for EDM lately, and even scored on Sunday. If he's out of the lineup tonight, it's quite possible he'll be getting dumped before the deadline.
Given his recent performance, it's likely they're keeping him out because there is a deal close to be completed.

All Jeff Skinner has done recently is score goals and play decent defensively. He should absolutely be on the first PP unit. This is another Dylan Holloway situation where they make their mind up about a player and nothing he does will ever make a difference.
