That second Bouchard giveaway was horrible. A simple play off the boards would’ve been an easy breakout. Then he doesn’t take couturiers stick in front of the net
Connor should have rested this weekend especially when you see what is coming this week. Play off teams every second day on the road. I get he may not have wanted to but definitely needs some time to recover.
Mcdavid is still 4th in the league in points. This isnt the 80s, hes not going to finish with 150 pts ever again. Crosby is 21st in pts and is 37. As long as he stays healthy and can be in the top 20 every year, he will finish a god like crosby. Hes not the problem. The entire west is a paper tiger and you found that out last 2 games.
Bouchard is playing his worst hockey of his career in a contract year combined with just absolutely braindead plays is just so frustrating. He is a danger when he carries the puck across the blue. I think he is not adjusting to the pressure at the point because teams are realizing they need to pressure him into mistakes. He has to figure that out.
My issue with Bouchard is not A giveaway – it’s the fact that he can’t seem to stop himself from repeatedly doing it. What’s worse – he doesn’t even try to fix what he did
