Myers was absolutely horrible last game, and what does he do first shift in, he takes another stupid brain dead needless penalty unbelievable. Actually unfortunately it's believable the guy more than likely has the lowest IQ in the whole league.
On a great note Mancini already looks twice as competent than Myers and when Hughes is back they should sit his useless ass.
All you doom and gloom whiny drama queen fans who have written Petey off after being his biggest fans crying that you wanted him signed and were scared he'd leave you guys should leave.
This team has done very well considering all the brutal injury luck and what they've gone through, and they're still in a spot.
If you can't handle the adversity and think players never should struggle screw off and cheer for someone else who you think everyone and the team is at their best every game who never have any bad nights or streaks.
Ive always said Petey has been way overhyped since day 1. The Canucks only took a liking cause he very Sedin-like.
Toc had very similar seasons when he head coached Arizona. Took a year to get pretty good to compete and then dropped off. Exact same here now. I dont think he wants/will be back next year too; the enthusiasm seems gone amongst everyone but Quinn, Lanky, HEATle, and O'Connor. So many things up in the air, buckle up Canucks fans!

FACT: The Canucks should put Petterson on waivers and hope another team is foolish enough to pick him up. If they do, Canucks just freed up nearly $12 million per year in cap space to spend on playoff warriors.
For all the morons out there who keep saying, "but we need something back for Petterson" – the nearly $12 million is what you get back.
Now sure, if some team is so stupid as to take Petterson's contract AND trade a player or draft picks, by all means, take the deal.
But if no team's that stupid, put him on waivers and hope someone takes him.
Elias Petterson is never coming back, performance-wise. He has mental problems and they're not going to go away, at least not in Vancouver.
So get your money back by putting him on waivers.

Guys like Petey, Boeser and Garland are brining the rest of the new guys (who were playing well) down to their level and sucking the life out of them. Time to shut down Petey and start sitting guys who aren't performing and play guys from the farm to give them experience. Season's lost anyways and even if they sneak in they'll get bounced in 4. Make some major changes in the off season.
I am going to canucka game against utah. I am going to buy a jt miller canucks jersey. Ask to trade it at the game for pettersson jersey. So I can use his jersey as extra toilet paper. I am running quite low. Would rather see a beaut miller jersey on the ice.
