Mikko isn’t a 100 million dollar player without mackinnon
He doesn’t want 12.5, he wants 14+.
mikko done want to be there come vancouveerrrrrr
Insiders have contacted me directly. There's a decent chance he returns to Colorado as a free agent. Also told me that if he did get traded, it would only be to the Leafs. He thinks the Red Wings and Canucks have sub-par teams and would want to play with a true contender
It's just that he might not want to be a hurricane. Simple
I don't think it's about money anymore
If I'm a player turning down that kind of money, not wanting to play there is the only reason. So… Carolina's only real move here is to trade him again, or hang on, go as far in the playoffs as possible, and trade his negotiating rights at the draft.
Imagine what happens if he leave Carolina to sign with Colorado?
Yikes!
What is the largest UFA contract where a player moved? Panarin at 11.5×7 or has someone gotten more then that?
I been seeing everyone on X saying give him some time but bruh come on he said no to that much and do you think 1-2 more weeks before the deadline is gonna change that? especially if the games keep going not that great hes going to Vegas or to Florida, somewhere with a great #1 centre sorry Aho aint that guy.
CAROLINA IS A CUP CONTENDING TEAM! Everyone continues to say He’ll be traded to a cup contender! He’s there! It’s not like Vancouver that can’t get out of their own way! Geez!
Man, these players are so greedy these days.
Rantanen isn’t near the same player without MacKinnon! Don’t overpay this guy! Big mistake from whoever does
I just don't think he wants to stay in Carolina tbh. He wants to go back to Colorado.
He didnt reject it. He says he needs more time to process the trade. Damn everyone hates the canes
He wants 15m AAV so he’ll be asking for 6 year 100m or 8 year 115m
What if he loved being with Colorado and he signs with them for 9.25 million again. lol. I’d be laughing.
"Rantanen can't make more than Mackinnon"
translated from GM talk means:
"Because we grossly underpaid one guy, every player for the next 8 years must make less than that guy even if its far below market value"
Rangers are talking about offering him 16 Million a year
Trade Boeser and Demko for Rantenan
