I don't like to see young players get too physical until they fill out and understand when to do it, if you throw hits you will get hit and young players have soft bones and get hurt. Nice to see him use his size, I think he's ready to take this next big step. BTW his turn around pass at the blue line was brilliant, it shows he's got the skill plays well in hand. Exciting times if he can take this step.
I wonder if it isn't a sign that he's ready to move on from the skilled 1st line, onto the 2nd line with Anderson and Dach as a dominant physical line? Andy is playing good tough hockey, his confidence is showing in his speed, checking, he's improved a ton. Thanks guys, good brain candy.
