Lawson Crouse is exactly the type of player that the Sens need. He would be a perfect compliment to Brady with the type of game he can bring. Right now, the only guy willing to play hard, other than Brady is Grieg. In the last two meetings against the Hans, Grieg has taken on Dach and Slafkovsky, both giants compared to him. Ostapchuk has the size to play the role but either he has a leach on or he doesn’t have the temperament. Go get Crouse and put him on Stutzle’s wing.
Is management untouchable? Boeser, Pettersen, Hughes, Hoglander, Demko, Garland, Miller all good players and came to the the Canucks through draft or trade. All under the previous management group. Since then what happened? A bunch of moves that meant nothing and cost draft choices and assets. All the the players mentions above are good players and in the past year have either been injured, traded or have completely gone into the tank as far as production. This management group needs to be held accountable.

Aside from Hughes, who exactly is part of the Canucks core if they trade Petey? Boeser is likely gone this summer. If this "core" that they're referring to consists of Chytil, DeBrusk, Garland, Joshua, Hoglander, and Hronek then that's a pretty weak core group of players to try to build a contender around.

I don't if you listen to Elliot Friedman from Sportsnet but he mentioned in his 32 podcast that Trent Frederic could be a trade target for the Senators.
In my opinion Domi has done everything the coach has asked of him. He plays all over the ice with new line mates weekly. His faceoffs have been dominant at times. Marner went down last year and he essentially replaced Marner with his offensive output. His pt totals are down this year clearly. But I've liked his game alot of nights for the most part. I'd be very very surprised if he is on the trade block.
If Petey is reading this…If something between the ears has you down and out….The fix is to Punish your body HARD with fitness exercise whenever it happens…in the middle of the night….do sit ups…etc…
