Slavin has been in the league 10 years, is on team USA, made an allstar game, has two byngs and gets Norris votes every year. He’s an excellent veteran defender but he’s not a megastar come on now.

He’s likely best Defensive dman in league. He’s been this way for years tho. Nothing new.
