Let’s talk about today’s Detroit Red Wings and Anaheim Ducks game which saw a lot of nonsense, including a missed high hit by Trevor Zegras. That and more on today’s NHL hockey video!
Gouda’s also gave a few cheap cross checks in the lower back, probably after getting embarrassed a couple times by reverse hits from Kasper and Raymond. Mickey called him a caveman, I lol’d at that.
Cutter Gauitier is so soft he refused to go to the Flyers because he didn't want to block any shots. He just wants to skate around and wait for someone to give him the puck. Weak person.
I'm probably a little biased as a Wings fan, but that should have probably been a 5 minute major. Big Ras is significantly taller, so it's not like the head contact was incidental. It definitely looked like Zegras targeted him. And that's the kind of call that even the linesmen can make, so it's inexcusable that all 4 officials missed it. Zegras should be suspended and the stripes should get the same length suspension.
Agree the refs missed a lot. There were cheap shots all around in that game. But this wasn’t a one-sided affair. For example, are we just NOT gonna mention Chiarot punching Vatrano in the head AFTER the 2nd Period ended?!
The Ducks got down early and tried to be goons. Gudas also kept going after Raymond. The crosscheck to the back that was missed is another play that should have been called. Glad Raymond wised up and countered one of Gudas's attempts later in the game.
terrible no call by the refs, and even worse by Zegras after the fact saying "no-way" behind his teammates on the bench watching the replay. Clear as day, looks even worse in slow-mo. Scumbag for sure!
And you didn't even mention the dirty crosscheck by Gudas into the back of Lucas Raymond because Raymond punked him with a reverse hit when Gudas was trying to hit him from behind.
Gudas cheapshotted him multiple other times during the game, too.
The bullshit in the game, took the wings focus out of it, which is the only reason the ducks even had a chance in the game. In a regular game, they MIGHT have claws back two goals, maybe. The wings were killing then in the first ~ like their stats said they should. Crap playing by a basement team , and that hit should be a suspension, regardless.
