If they had kept Zadorov they wouldn't have needed to acquire Petterson and trade a 1st round pick in the first place. This was bad asset management.
Don’t people see how bad this management has been to be honest? From what we had last year to now this sinking ship. No one seems to be pointing fingers at them but to be honest it’s on them because they are the ones to have to manage. Not to mention Elias lindholm costed us a first which is possibly the worst trade in Canucks history that no one talks about

JT thought he had a lazy teammate in Vancouver so he get traded to the laziest team in the NHL by going to the Rangers makes sense

Canucks converted the assets they acquired from the Rangers and turned it into a Top-4 dman in Mpety. Unfortunately, these guys don't come for free, unless someone suggests that maybe we can just wait until July 1st. Hell, you can make an argument that u can just wait until Free Agency to get Rantanen for free…
