  1. Ovi is such a monster. 39 years old having a fantastic season. The Caps are looking strong this year it would be awesome to see Ovi win another cup before he retires

  2. Enough already. Ovi does nothing compared to Gretzky. Not the same skater or passer. Yes, he has wicked slap/wrist shot. On this video Ovi skates behind the play and waits for the feed or in many others just stands at the top of the circle on the PP and waits for the puck with his stick loaded. Great career but not worthy of the great one's. Sometimes stats don't tell the real story.

  3. interesting without backstrom and a primed ovechkin the capitals have shown a much greater impact than anyone could have imagined. A solid team like this has a much better chance than a team with a few super stars. remember the bigger salary you get the shallower team you get.

  4. Sickening with all these Empty goals to inflate his stats… he scores mostly on powerplay or empty net goals…
A one-trick pony with a good shot that scores most of all his goals on powerplays sitting at the point waiting to load up… and now they are feeding him all these gifted empty net goals, to inflate his stats and try to get him to beat the record… sickening.
One of the most overrated players in the league, hands down.
