  1. Put the nhl on notice? Scored 1 goal and fought a guy much smaller than himself while Ottawa was missing Brady and Pinto . As a 1st overall Slafkovsky is still very very very underwhelming, that’s his only decent game this year . Sorry I just can’t be bias

Here’s a fun fact , Shane wright has more points than Slafkovsky this year and has been on a tear , while Logan Cooley has 43 pts . But yes great Slafkovsky is regressing , scored a goal and got into a fight with a much smaller guy than he is , after being dropped on his ass by that same guy🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ how can anyone be excited about this , this is turning into another fiasco, Slafkovsky already been in the league for 3 years and regardless of what Hugues is trying to justify , looks like wright and Cooley have the higher ceiling as hugues like to say🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ but hey , it’s not like the habs needed a left handed talented center for the passed 30 years 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ what a mess

And there’s still some of you who are ok with that and still think that Slafkovsky and reinbacher were the right choice🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ making a post about how good Slafkovsky is while the guys drafted behind him are outscoring him while playing on weaker teams and at harder position 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

Sorry but there’s no way I can get excited over this

  3. I was thinking of Slaf recently….next year should give us a better idea of who or what kind of player he is or will be….as he should be finished growing into his body.

  4. When slaf was quoted saying I need to play like Brady tkachuck I truly think he just grasped that he is physically superior to play this style. At 20 to grasp this is going to be very dangerous for other teams

  5. Lets be honest here montreal played well and slaf was great this game.Probably his best game this year. But Ottawa didnt play well and the effort wasnt there appart from stutzle everybody played terrible. Will take the dub tho.hopefully this gives them a confidence boost to push for more points as they have a relatively easy schedule ahead

  6. Thank you, guys, for another great report. In any team sport, each player is expected to contribute to winning. During the game against Ottawa, Slaf contributed in many ways. Shooting, scoring, defending, and hitting make for a full game. Slaf did it all, and like you mentioned, this is why he was selected first during the draft. It was a great game by Slaf. Go HABS Go

  7. there are 50 points potential 25 games left. habs would have to win 35+ out of 50 points to make the series? 57+ 35 = 92 is it enough? not shure that is a big challenge no? habs will need team ahead or them to loose several important games to help the habs make it? 25 out of 25 games is high hopefull thinking. will not happen realistically speaking
