Nathan Greer Carries GC Eagles Varsity To Victory Over Franklin

Nathan Greer scored 16 points to lead GC Eagles Varsity past Franklin, 56-31, on Tuesday.
Leading 18-15, GC Eagles Varsity went on a 26-point run to pull further away. GC Eagles Varsity got out to a 23-15 lead at halftime before closing out the victory.
GC Eagles Varsity found their groove in the third quarter, outscoring Franklin 25-2. The team shot 11-17 in the quarter.
GC Eagles Varsity had a great day shooting from inside the arc, finishing 23-41 on twos. GC Eagles Varsity controlled the paint, grabbing 32 rebounds. Ben Fischer led the team with eight rebounds. GC Eagles Varsity passed the ball well with 10 assists on 25 made baskets. GC Eagles Varsity stood tall, blocking three shots in the game. Also contributing for GC Eagles Varsity were Christian Kurz (14 points), Fischer (9 points), Max Knouse (7 points), Daniel Mariacher (6 points), Layne Rider (2 points), and Austin Gothe (2 points).
Jameson Wofford scored 10 points to lead Franklin. Also contributing for Franklin were Will Findlan (6 points), Ashton Purich (6 points), Ian Higley (5 points), Alex Umbenhaur (2 points), and #0 (2 points).
