Peter Laviolette has no answers and no ability to steer this team in the right direction. It’s the same tiring rhetoric— “We need to be better…” What does that even mean anymore? This isn’t a real team, and they’re certainly not a playoff team. If they somehow sneak into the second wild card spot, it would be a waste—taking the place of a more deserving team that just missed the cut.

So many disappointing players. The drop off from last season for EVERYBODY on this roster is beyond explanation.
The effort is AWFUL. Soft, slow, weak…and on top of it all, Shesterkin was not good.

Laviolette is sorry. I would have put a hit on Greenway for him hitting Trochek from behind. Why would you let that go unanswered. Who the fuck would want to play for a team that doesn’t protect their players when they get cheap shotted. Take out Greenway and lay out Dahlin as I hold Dahlin responsible for his teammates actions and let him know that clearly. Just like Laviolette lets Dougie Hamilton celebrate in the Garden. Trochek would have felt some intense brotherly emotion knowing that they aren’t going to get away with it. You can’t expect Trochek to get Greenway back. That would be personal and a bad look. Why would Trochek even want to be the Captain of a team that let him get cheap shotted. Coach needs to make that call so that it’s taken care of and we know what to expect if that type of shit happens again. Trochek can get involved in another one. Laviolette sees the game from a seat at the UN. It’s Rangers first and those things shouldn’t go unanswered. We need a new coach. Igor had a bad game and defense played give always but we know goaltending will make or break us so let’s protect the players and let’s play with a sense of pride. Let’s make sure we win the battles that should matter so that we can start playing for each other. Laviolette needs to set the tone and create that culture. It’s the Eastern Conference and if we don’t play right we are going to lose the players efforts, lose the camaraderie, and lose all team self respect game after game until we just lay our heads down. Teams are going to talk about us as that team and come in with a will to take everything from us because of the lack of action. This teams needs to know who they are really and I’m sure they prefer to be taken seriously then being discounted.
I heard Sam Rosen calling Rangers games during the first gulf war. I was a little dumb kid. Still am that kid. We all are to an extent. We got to make a push and put it all on the line. All hands on deck and each players got to be that guy for the other guy. Match and exceed your teammates intensity so that they will do the same. We can’t let this be Sam’s last season. Lot of the team is going to change. It’s sell out for Sam. It our last chance to do that for him!!!
At least John Gruden takes responsibility after loses. The team’s play should be a reflection on you. Take responsibility for the team and demand everything from them.

I just wish I wasn't a fan of this organization. They are so poorly run and any idiot off the street could do a better job. It is clear that either Laviolette can't coach, or the players have quit on him. Any change at this point regardless of whom you find to replace him would almost certainly be an upgrade. I mean screw it …get Drury to jump behind the bench at this point. Really can't get much worse than 8-2 to the Sabres. A team that has the longest playoff drought of any sports franchise. This is a real low point for us Ranger faithful.

The room is filled with people who constantly make mistakes. 2 min on and K'Andre kills us again to start. I ran out quick to come home to 4-0 and than Trocheck totally blows a D coverage. I'm not an NHL player but I played for a long time pretty sure Trocheck should be in the house and a winger should be up by the D. Housely and his man on man system sux a$$.
