    It really is impressive how the Hawks managed to be so successful during this salary cap era but it also shows no matter how you try to finesse it, the cap will come back and bite you.

    I'm hearing that Seth Jones wants to be traded, I'm also hearing that the Hawks are at their Retained Contract limit. So if that is all true, how can the Hawks get it done, I'm not sure it can because of Jones' albatross of a contract.

    Remember when everyone accused the Hawks of tanking when they got Bedard, and then after they had him playing they revealed that, no, they actually did suck that bad naturally?

    Its crazy that after all of those players leaving after winning the Stanley Cup, the Blackhawks still won 2 more Stanley Cups after that.

    When I decided to be a Chicago fan it was following in the times after the death of my closest friend and ten years of being a diehard Bolts fan (1994-2004)

    All I can say is they angered me so much after the Kyle Beach revelations. Particularly in light of being a victim of molestation myself.

    All those amazing years and accomplishments just sullied beyond repair in my mind. I immediately became a Sabres’ fan and no disappointment they’ve given me since that decision can match what Chicago did as an organization.

    Interesting stuff. 🤔 But I think they should have been number one in the playoff power rankings based on the 3 cups, and who they had to go through to win them. They also beat Tampa Bay in the finals, the team that finished first, so there's that too.

    As a Hawks fan there is one thing ive come to understand with my team in my lifetime. Either we make the playoffs and get bounced round 1, make the playoffs and win the whole thing, or be depressingly terrible and not make it at all.

    I highly doubt the Hawks will win anymore Cups as long as Danny Wirtz and GM Kyle are in charge. They clearly don't have IT. At a minimum they need to fire Kyle. Can't trust a guy who cries at press conference.

    Some of the happiest nights of my life were the 3 times they won the Cup, thanks for breaking down the top Hawks over the last 25 years! I'm excited to see what the future brings for the first time in awhile 😀

    I'm pretty sure the language barrier is the reason why European coaches have problems in the NHL.
    First, they have funny accents.
    Second, they lack nuance in creative swearing.

    I just can't help but think of all of the great players the Hawks let get away the last 10 years. From all stars to great depth players…

    Teravainen, Schmaltz, Forsling, Debrincat, Hagel, Dannault, Hartman, Pius Suter, Panarin, Duclair, Dylan Strome, Lankinen, Jake McCabe….Just to name a few…..
