  1. As a Blues fan, that second goal by Vilardi was such an insane tip in. What a season he is having. Big shoutout to Chevy to get him by committing grand larceny on Rob Blake and the Kings to get him. That was a fun one. GG

  2. Dammit, trade Stanley!! He looked like he belongs in a beer league on that first Blues goal.
Let's break it down; First he fails to keep the puck in the offensive zone, then he gets his stick tied up under Thomas' arm for a good 3 or 4 seconds, then leaves Thomas uncovered to deliver a bodycheck on Buchnevich who nudged the puck to the now uncovered Thomas who scores on a 2 on 1 break while Stanley looks on helplessly.
At the very least he should have let go of the stick and hope for a 'holding the stick' penalty, sure it's a cheap penalty but so is holding a stick under the armpit. At most he should have used his size/weight advantage to spin, pull or push Thomas off balance, possibly risk a 'hooking' penalty but keep Thomas from facing the offensive direction, somewhere in the middle he could simply donkey-punch Thomas and take a 'roughing' penalty. Rather see a PK attempt than another Stanley-caused 2 on 1 breakaway, which seems to more often than not end up in the net.
