The Wild have gone a long while without any playoff success. Hopefully that changes soon.

Opinion about jets?
The same can be said for any Minnesota sports teams
Your videos are always so mischievous and entertaining! Thank you for your sense of humor and your ability to make our days brighter and more fun!👡🛩😃
I was there Gandalf…3000 years ago watching them in 2003.
Good enough to be in the top half, never bad enough to get high draft picks. This is our way.
Terrible franchise. An "F" grade is appropriate and fair. Minnesota deserves better. The entire front office should be fired and the owner stripped from the franchise.
Yes! We do want to see teams go on a run who haven’t done that ever. Minnesota is due. So is Columbus, Nashville and Ottawa. I was looking at the expansion teams that have been added since the WHA additions. Tampa and Anaheim have won Cups, but these last four have to get going. Vancouver and Buffalo are WAY overdue. Over 50 years for those two!
Morning THG, with the passing of Mike Lange thought it would be kinda cool if you did a memorial video just talking about iconic moments he was a part of (called) or whatnot. I’m thinking of more of a summer series of passed announcers, probably wouldn’t be long videos or great engagement but I think it could be fun, something to keep in mind ig
Anyone arguing for a different state of hockey is moronic
All Minnesota sports: always fairly decent but cursed in the playoffs 😔
Coaching has held Minnesota back so many years, I just want to see a coach adapt in the playoffs. They never adjust lines or strategies it's just smash your head against the wall till you bleed out
Thanks for the video! Great info, details, and insights! Yeah, no Cup, nothing above a C. Wild is having a great year despite some tough injuries. They are my ESPN+ blackout team so I can't speak to actual play but they seem to lose some must win games over the years.
The wild can never keep their players on the ice, chronic injuries.
… also is Spurgeon overrated… probably.
I was suprised former Wild legend Brent Burns name didn't pop up and the Parise / Suter thing wasn't a head scratcher at all. They instigated problems in the locker room and Parise was benched in the playoffs due to playing horrible.
Dubnyk was a true goalie… a complete head case…
I think it's something in the water. Probably irony.
The definition of a mid team, never bottom tier for draft lottery but never good enough to be a contender
Not enough is made of how terrible of a general manager Chuck Fletcher was.
He would constantly blow draft picks on bad trades, and he put the anchors of Parise/Suter on the team, and allowed them to run the team like their personal country club until he was finally fired.
So much of Bill Guerin's tenure has just been fixing Fletcher's mistakes
How many of these are left
As U Tree said in a video about the Minnesota Wild. Close but never close enough.
I think Guerin is by far the best GM the team has had yet. And I loved it when Boudreau was coach. I think he was the best coach the team has had. And there have been some great players that have been through the team too. I just wish they could make a push in the playoffs.
One word. Mild.
I remember being SO excited when we signed Parise and Suter 🤦♂
The US version of the Calgary Flames.
This franchise has had a lot of good players, but only a couple great players. They’ve also had some great regular seasons, but only a couple good post seasons, none of which have resulted in a cup finals appearance. They’re very much a ‘mid’ team, but they are very loved in Minnesota, and the future looks bright.
And Norm Green still sucks
