Maybe they’re not playing dahlin till next game. Probably wants to see how he plays under pressure. Kid hasn’t played in the playoffs before. That would explain the overtime thing. Personally I’d rank Swedens defense as 1st. Hedmam 2. Elkhom 3 tied between EK dahlin and Forsling all real good defenders but dahlin needs more ice time id say but im glad they’re not over playing him. Anyways that was the best game I’ve watched as a Sabres fan who’s never seen our current players play in a tournament.
Paul nailed it. In the 1st half of the game. The only time Sweden looked good was when Dahlin was on the ice. The rest of the team did pick it up in the 2nd half.
Why they don’t use him on 3v3 is wild to me.
Also Dahlin is better than Hedman at this point in Hedman’s career. He looks old and washed
USA has the most complete roster.
Findland Defense looks average & doesn’t have depth
Canada doesn’t have goaltending
Sweden’s forwards are underwhelming
USA has everything.
