2/21 Practice: Brad Shaw

  1. Nothing wrong with shoring up the defensive side of Drysdale's game. The fact that Shaw stated there's hesitancy in Drysdale transitioning to offense indicates that he's receiving one set of coaching from Shaw and another set of coaching instructions from Tortorella. Tortorella needs to back off and let Shaw do his thing. The man has a history of developing and coaching top defensemen.

  2. I find it interesting he basically said you can’t have all of Jamie, Emil, and Cam here when it’s time for the team to go to the next level. Does that mean maybe 2 of the 3? 1 of the 3? And he alludes to the team still evaluating which of the 3 if any they will decide to keep and which will get moved. I get the impression they still like Jamie and believe there’s untapped potential so they aren’t ready to move him out, but as for Cam and Emil, they both might be fighting for a spot. Emil would stand to be the odd man out but would it maybe make more sense to move Cam in the right deal?
