@smumustangs15 I've heard a hockey analylist on ESPN mention Toews name as a HT candidate. But I haven't heard anything mentioned about Datsyuk being a candidate for the HT anywhere so far from any hockey analylist.

Datsyuk is considered by many players and coaches to be the best in the world. He is one of the few that can be a top 5 scorer AND the best defensive forward in the same year. His all around game is the best.

Vancouver was fortunate that shot by Sharp was off a rolling puck. If you watch that play, Sharp was ready to tee it up but it was a rolling puck and he didn't get all of it. If he had gotten all of it game over, but as an annoying ESPN employee once said, "that's why they play the game."

I'm a canucks fan, and when this went in, my heart stopped. I've never been a bigger basket of nerves watching a game in my life, even more so than game 7 verses Boston in the final. Mind you, I love Toews, and Kane, and playing the Hawks. Because of moments like this. The bad blood, the skill on both sides. Heres to another 10 years of this.
There is a difference, between players such as Toews and Stamkos, and whiners like Crosby and Malkin. The former two are true team captains, willing to sacrifice life and limb to win Stanley Cups and they don't rattle when shit doesn't go their way. The latter two are pampered, spoiled brats that look for help from referees.
Brett you are a true hockey fan. Toews is the most wonderful player. As a Bruin fan you have in Bergeron a player that Hawk fans are in awe of. To play as hurt as he was and still play great is unreal. I hope to see you again next year in the finals.
