Bogus penalty. Rule makes no sense, penalized for not dropping his usless broken stick
Kinda dumb, him holding that had 0 impact on the play. If he poked at it with the broken stick sure maybe
Can someone explain the penalty Iβm confused
broken hockey sticks can be extremely sharp
Bro why
If he dropped the broken stick and then made that kick pass it's not a penalty right?
What was the penalty
Should have dropped the broken stick that was a dumb play
I love how this was called immediately, yet it doesn't get called when the Sens are playing my team…
This is what trying too hard to get out of a rut looks like. .. I hope Kuzi gets it all together again it seems like he's close to doing so but then we see this happen in a game so we'll see how it goes.

If a stick breaks you have t drop it or two minutes n the box….. DROP it because throwing it is 5 minutes.
Whay are they wearing Canucks colors?? π
Are hockey players allowed to kick the puck?
Story of kuzys season…feel for the guy but hes a flash in the pan kinda player
Gotta put that down bud
Glad Canucks got rid him. Excellent personality and fan favorite, but fked up too much.
I get that this is funny, but guys in high school have this all figured out. 5.5 mil against the cap. Disappointing.
I like how huska is like β heβs been in the nhl a couple years he should know that ruleβ. Iβm like, Iβve been watching for 15 years. I forgot about that plus, itβs dumb what I gonna with a broken stick. π
Kuz-break-stick
I like how itβs delay of game, like dawg the only person stopping this play is the ref blowing the whistle. Seems to me kuzmenko was not to blame lol
So for anyone wondering he did not immediately drop his broken stick. Some people are implying itβs because it could used as a weapon etc, itβs more so because itβs sharp and players are checking each other and falling all over the ice. That could seriously injure or kill someone if they contacted it the wrong way. The safest place for a broken stick is flat on the ground until the play is over.
Isn't the penalty only for playing the puck with the broken stick specifically?
Broken stick on a wrist shot??
Stooopid
I was at the exact same blazer game β€
