Borowiecki lays questionable hit on Buchnevich, answers for it soon after
Ottawa Senators defenceman Mark Borowiecki lays a hit on New York Rangers rookie Pavel Buchnevich that another Ranger had an issue with, so they settle it later on in the period.
mb if a team is in the middle of a scoring chance the play shouldn't be called dead. Idk how u work that out but wish there was a way not kill good offense in its tracks.

I may have some bias as a Sens fan (I probably do, butI'm trying to be objective), but the Rangers player stopped/turned away last second. It looks like it would have been a good hit if Buchnevich hadn't stopped suddenly. I agree that Borowiecki didn't do much to try and stop or change directions after Buchnevich turned away, but to me it looks like he kinda put himself in that position.
If this was on purpose then I have a new found appreciation for Tanner Glass. Imagine if he saw that scoring chance develop and immediately dropped the gloves in order to stop play and negate the chance… genius
