The Stars need to play CDS more often in these last 27 gms. Already worried about Oetter's workload. As for the All-Star Game, it's stupid. Empty Calories. Just have a skills competition for the kids and be done with the "game(s)". I think if the owners are so worried about star players getting hurt, they ought to re-think the number of games they play to begin with, and how the compressed schedule is harmful to the game by putting exhausted players out there on a tuesday night in half-filled arenas. I think 64-72 games is plenty, with a standard 2-week break in the middle. i'm as tired of watching subpar back to backs as the players are tire of enduring them. I would love to see them gone completely from the schedule but i know it'll never happen because CAPITALISM.
