I’d be smiling too if I had to face a team with a swiss cheese goalie like Bennington! Canada had the momentum after McDavid’s goal and then Bennington lets in a triple AAA batam goalie goal and deflate our whole team!
Jake could have easily had 4 goals in that game ! the down side is Mathews doing his usual thing scoring like crazy in the regular season then disappearing when it counts in the playoffs or this tournament !
That was a fun game, and I was cheering for the losing team. If USA had started with more discipline that would have been a shutout. Maybe not as much fun, mind you, ha ha.
