I'm picking Marchenko over Svechnikov. I know this is not a good stat to compare players, but Marchenko is a +31 on the Blue Jackets who are currently just outside the playoffs. Svechnikov is a -5 on the Canes who are 2nd in the division and 10 points ahead of Columbus. Svechnikov is meh. Hasn't really put up amazing numbers since coming to the NHL. Marchenko has more goals and points this year. Nichushkin is just as good as Svechnikov when he's in the lineup. I'd still choose Michkov over Svechnikov.
