A flashy offensive winger with a high IQ and an assortment of ways to posterize the most competent of defenders, University of Michigan winger Kent Johnson (#13) was second among NCAA freshman scorers with 27 points (9 goals, 18 assists) in 26 games.

this kid is absolutly nasty future Red Wing ??
The best prospect from an entertainment perspective. This dude is fun to watch
Imagine him and Zegras playing together
I think he’ll be a lot better than everyone thinks…
I like Johnsons skating and ice awareness compared to MacTavish. Johnson keeps skating and trying to exploit space.
He would be a great idea for Detroit's 6th pick (probably 7th overall)
The issue I have with Johnson is he relies too much on his skill to get him through rather than his brain. Tremendous skill, but he won't get away with half the stuff in the NHL he does in College. If he can blend the two, no reason why he can't be very successful as a 2LW
I only wish but it is highly unlikely that the NYRangers can get em being 15th in the draft or any of UMich., HKY trio.
Can you imagine this guy with Pettersson-Hughes-Boeser-Horvat on the Vancouver Canucks #1 PP unit.
I like Beniers better but Michigan could have 3 go in the top 10. I would be happy with any of them in Detroit. Beniers would be a great pick for them.
Really hope the Canucks get this kid.
