Lalji makes sense of the Quinn Hughes’ situation, and details Thatcher Demko’s latest injury

TSN Canucks reporter Farhan Lalji joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss the situation Quinn Hughes is in right now as Team USA’s injury replacement on defence, Thatcher Demko being out week-to-week again for Vancouver, and Elias Pettersson’s underwhelming performance at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

  1. Demko is a baby.. he’s used goods that can never be repaired. He and Petey need to just go away already

  2. Thatcher is done. Trade him and anything but a 1st or 2nd rounder just to clear his cap space. Give Lankinen 2 years at 3.5mil to hold the fort while we find a replacement or to prove he can be a starter in this league.

  3. Farhan your between the pipes, well Demko was great while he lasted, one of those injuries that is unforeseen, Silos time to get hot buddy, i have no issues with Lankennen, a solid netminder

  4. Have we all seen enough yet?, Demko is clearly injury prone and it’s time for Allvin to trade him while a least a few other teams are willing to take a chance on him.

  5. Vancouver is Goalie Graveyard. Thatcher Demko injured yet again what a surprise. I think Demko is screwing with the Canucks like the other letdown Roberto Luongo and they will probably be paying for Demko just like Roberto for years to come
