Trev you have to remember Allvin has had him in his Penguins days. On top of that it's a short term contract. With the cap going up even higher this will make a small dent on our cap.
Hey RevTrev, what do you think about Canucks going for Colton Parayko? He's 6'6, 228lbs, RHD, 6.5M for 8Ys, can make a trade for Soucy and/or Myers and maybe a draft pick cause as all know, Allvin doesn't like them. Didn't even get to caress the draft pick he got from The Pens lol
Looks like they are expecting another level from him. It makes sense when you consider he has already looked pretty good, is big and fast which helps them with there rush game which is lacking. Seems a little pricey but well worth the risk as the next two years should be seeing the player peaking in production. This is just a move that keeps you from losing a player you payed up for. I would rather pay Suter that much money as he is a really good player. Maybe he wants more money than they are willing to pay like Boeser. I imagine Trader Jim and his side kick Paddy will be busier than i one legged man at an ass kicking contest, over the next couple of weeks. They gotta get someone and probably two guys that can score if you are getting rid of Boeser and Suter. Three goal scorers if they want to make it to the playoffs. The Defense is actually really good but you got to be able to score more than 1 or 2 goals per game if you want to win your share of games to make it in. They get some goal scorers an they are in if they don't i doubt the make it in. It is really amazing though how a strong defensive game can win games even with the lack of scoring like the last 4 games.
But in the talks of the video, I'm in that boat with you also, I wish they waited a bit but knowing them, they are desperado. Hopefully he will prove us wrong. I love being proved wrong.
Not sure, there is upside though. If he gets it together and produces some offense, you think he can be a Greg Adams or Martin Gélinas type player? One can hope, go Canucks go 👏👍🤝

But hes playing awesome only two games but sign him now before he goes somewhere else
