  1. One thing for certain is that unlike last year, we are going to be ready to go from the start.. boys look scmick!!

  2. Steene was winning a lot of those one-on-one’s with Cox. Very impressive! Looks like he has a bit of mongrel too. Great video as usual 🤜

  3. Watched Oscar train against Darcy last year and noticed on more than 1 occasion Oscar get hurt in ruck contest and Darcy would look at him and move away and I thought to myself that Darcy was a bit harsh but as time has gone on it has made Oscar grow as a young player. The Pies might have found a bit of Gold.

  4. It’s very hard to gauge how good a player is from our perspective(especially developing players)as we aren’t privy to detailed information and statistical analysis regarding players. Unless coaches come out and say what part of (x)player needs to improve or get to their criteria and standards we basically are playing the guessing game, but we can see guys that show enormous amounts of talent and potential with basic skills and experience that they have developed over their careers. More importantly we need to see them in games under match conditions . Were they come under scrutiny from everyone.

  5. In four months time you'll be doing a video titled "l was wrong about Lachie Shultz". Start planning it now Antman

  6. Easy. Mcstay plays a Tom Hawkings type of role where Mcstay rucks everything inside the attacking 50 and DC does the rest.

  7. i copped it for being bullish on Long last year, so I'm really interested to watch his progress. As for Schultz, the big stage and in big moments is where we'll know if he's going to improve on last year. His defensive pressure can't be faulted but what he needs to improve his composure when he has possession, especially at crucial times of the game. Maybe its a good thing for him we're playing against GWS at the showgrounds paddock for our first game in front of 15,000 rather than the pressure cooker of playing a Geelong in front of 80,000 at the MCG. Good luck to him. Hey when you doing the under 30s side vid?

  8. If dan rucks around the forward d thats job done, and doesnt have to ruck everytime just a chop out
    Bit like hawkins did.

  9. Once he gets his afl legs and confidence he will look to have plenty of time. Not the quickest but good thinker

  10. I've always believed in Oscar from the moment he started training with us in the summer of 2023. Even from his first season when he was raw and skinny. Even at that frame he was still taking contested marks against men in the vfl. He was unfortunate with injury last year, but he's now put on some size and holding his own a lot more against DC and Cox.

  11. 99% sure for Cochran it could be concussion as he was doing 1v1 drills when I saw him leave the track last week so probably got a knock. Unless of course he hurt himself in that and was a slight injury.
