  1. I’d like to see savard traded to the Oilers to give him a chance at winning another cup. Oilers could really use him. I think they would give us a first round pick .

  2. I agree with Jesse would not trade Savard for a 3rd round pick and not a late 2nd round either. I would keep him and eventually offer him a coaching D position. Everyone one the team, players- management respect him. Can't replace that experience. Once again Kevin from HFX

  3. Hey guys was just at the laval marlies game where they got beat 7-2. My thoughts are Mailloux is good, makes some defensive mistakes but is young, Beck is an NHL ready player. Hes noticbly faster then everyone on the ice, plays a really mean aggressive game to fit the AHL and is very good with his hands and defensively. Primeau is still in my eyes only an AHL player, it seems like when there is any type of spotlight, whether its playing at scotia bank or just the NHL in general. Maybe he reinvents himself in a smaller hockey market but not in MTL. Love your videos! Beck is ready for a full-time role

  4. Dvorak to the Avs for a 3rd rounder
Evans and Armia to the Kings for a 2nd rounder and a prospect or for a first rounder and a salary dump.

  5. ANYTHING could happen! I trust HUGO. We're gonna have to say goodbye to guys we love. Gotta get over it. Gotta move on if it makes the team better.

  6. In my opinion you trade Savard no matter what. The Habs are not keeping him, whatever you can get will be an asset. I think a 2nd round pick is realistic, but you never know how desperate some teams are going to be at the deadline.

  7. If you bring all those rookies in the next few year , the habs will turn into the Sabres, a team with no good vets and all those prospects won’t develop to their full potential.

Roy , demidov , Fowler, volokhin , bogdan, Reinbacher, mailloux , Farrell , Davidson ,xhekaj, tuch , Harris, Kapanen , Hage , engstrom ,beck, Boulet , RHP. That’s 18 prospects with a very good chance to make the nhl and some of them already played few nhl games , even at a pace of bringing up 4 prospects a year (which never once happened) over a period of 3 years , this still means that many other prospects will end up rotting in the ahl and keep losing value so what’s the point of aquire more mid daft picks? And ignoring some prospect developments which translate in them losing value?

Look at Farrell for example , beck gets called up , few players gets injured and now he’s back on the top 6 in Laval and at his last 6 games he has 2×3 pts games and a 2 pts games . This is not the only example , Trudeau , hugues , Boulet , RHP ect

The habs have to many players and picks and they waste 1st and second rounders on patches like newhook and Dach

It’s time to pull two blockbuster moves and go get a top 6 left handed center and a first pairing right handed defenseman so the prospects the habs decide to keep have room and are well surrounded so they can develop properly

If Dobson is available than make it happen, enough of those backward trades to aquire “maybes” like Dach and newhook , 2 guys that won’t be here in 3 years , how is that looking for the future? Make a trade for an impact player that’s gonna be here for the next 10 years . Not Kirby Dach or Alex fu<king newhook 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

  8. With Heineman out, Evans is not the same offensive player. It was fools gold. 43 give aways, 8 take aways this year. He turns the puck over quite a bit. Let him get a big contract somewhere else. I like him at $2 million per year, not at $4 million per year.

  9. Wish I could by tickets to the game you guys watch, MTL are where they are because they desire to be there, I see 10 players I would like to see go and Savard, Evans and Armia are not on that list

  10. I love Armia but he only seems to play well on his contract year
I love Evans and might be exploding but he's not that young and we have Beck. Kapanen and Hage as future centers who might be better.
I love Savard good leader and guy but it depends on how Reinbacker., Mailloux and Engstrom play moving up to trade deadline. We are not winning the cup next year and you don't want to hold back the youth movement.
    Dvorak. Galagher get whatever you
    Can just dimp their salaries.
Anderson a second and a younger powerhorse
Mike Matheson. I love him great guy, west Island boy great skater but seems to have a hard time with basic positioning???
    Wait one more year.

  11. Injuries sustained by defencemen on other teams will ultimately dictate the trade value of Savard. You could see a contending team like Vegas, who just lost Theodore, for what looks like the rest of the regular season, 'overpaying' for a steady veteran like Savard.

Whether it's pork bellies or hockey players, supply and demand sets the market price.
