I enjoy being a part of this journey and have been for the past few years, especially because we're not far from being back in the playoffs. I want to be able to look back and say I was a part of everything that took place
What a great interview! I've been a Sharks fan since the Cow Palace.days and while I live in the Midwest I still watch most games. Randy Hahn is a national treasure. Best play by play man in the league and it's not close. Great job Brodie!
Hey Brodie, Love Randy. I always enjoy his broadcasts and I really love hearing him talk about hockey and the sharks in a forum like this one. I used to love the Hockey Hot Stove that the broadcasts used to feature with all 4 members of the Sharks broadcast team. Randy is always interesting to listen to. He is smart, has a plethora of information gleaned from his work and his love of hockey writ large.
Thanks again Brodie for this wonderful conversation. I could have stood it to be about an hour longer though. hahaha Always leave 'em wanting more eh?
P.s. Icing on the power play is never good? You went for that one rather than the "ever popular 4 on 4 play?" hahahaha
P.p.s. Sorry Randy. On the odd chance you see this thank you for all that you have done for the Sharks and us fans. How rude of me not to thank you in case? My mom would be ashamed I forgot my manners! hahaha
Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda have "chemistry" which makes watching the Sharks games (even when they are losing badly) better. There is no substitute for experience in calling the game and by knowing Sharks' history so well, Randy can share more of what is really happening as Sharks develop back into a contender. The Sharks family is very lucky to have a pro like Randy calling the shots and interpreting the plays. By contrast, Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts (after the firing of Don Cherry) have become so boring and woke-value oriented that they forget to do comedy and act like an academic committee deciding tenure applications for teams. Randy's enthusiasm and preparation after more than 30 years is remarkable and much appreciated, especially when Sharks are going through a tough developmental adjustment phase. The Christmas inflatibles rap video role played by Randy was also truly cool.
Fantastic interview brodie! Great and genuine stuff from Randy. I know hes Sharkvoice but to me hes like Sharkdad! All time pun master and animated movie star! ⭐

holy shit the AI is great! In the description it has a list of people mentioned in the video: Will Smith (American actor and rapper).
RIP to Randy's dog
Seeing our whole 2016-2019 core slowly fade away sucked but man I sure am glad we still have Brodie Randy Drew and Dan. Broadcasting legends.
Randy Hahn IS the Sharks! Also a tasty sub from Ike's Sandwiches. Such a shame they're no longer at SAP, but the true Randy Hahn is!

We all know Randy does more than "Just show up for work." I cant imagine the organization without him.

I can't remember, is it ok to ice it on the power play?
Randy has to live to 97 and continue to call hockey games until them!!!
The legend himself, Randy Hahn!!
Randy the goat. We're spoiled here in SJ.
Randy and Dan need to be the next people with their banners in the rafters
