Steeves won't make it
Marner needs to sign for "cheap"(11.5-12.5 MAX x 4 years with a 10-team no trade list), he isn't a big game player.
You can find perimeter wingers that play on the power play/penalty kill with a little less point production but a bigger impact in the playoffs who make half as much.
Time for Mitch to agree to be traded or sign for cheap, stop sandbagging the team.

JT is still the captain imo. He's a real pro and real leader. I had hoped that giving Matthews the C would have elevated him as a leader. But it didn't happen and I can't see it happening. Matthews is what he is.
