  1. Onclin has a game that's nice to look at. Lots of variety. Hope we see more of him this year.

  2. Gotta give props to Onclin, he’s already won three qualifying rounds, taken a set off Opelka, and had some break points. Excited to see what he does in the future!

  3. on 4m 5sec. Opelka was serving on the Ad side (the right). When he hit the ball, I think the ball was on the Deuce side. "2 minute tennis" (youtube channel about tennis) mentioned this type of serve on his channel a few weeks ago. I did try it during a game on both sides. It worked well. I learnt about the racket drop from a Opelka slow motion video too. The drop is not as complex as I had thought.

  4. How a player can ba able to play few days after the Brisbane tournament and having resigned for the final because of injury ?…

  5. I was so impressed by how Opelka played in Brisbane. Not to take anything away from Onclin, but Opelka wasn't at the level he was in Brisbane in this match. You could tell he was nervous when things got tight or when he was on the verge of winning. Spinning his serve in relatively slowly for someone with such a huge serve, staying on the baseline countless times when he had opportunities to come in, and hitting up the middle constantly. I get that that's what people do when they're trying to compensate for their nerves, but I think he'd have won faster if he'd tried to be a little more aggressive and put more pressure on his opponent.

  6. neo roddicks. all that hard hitting (from both sides) and dominance and still misses the point. this is not tennis. this is quien es mas macho

  7. Wow, Opelka looks like a world beater! Superb comeback from a long layoff.

Credit to Onclin also. Superb effort.
