  1. I feel like now’s the best time to get rid of Ferraro, yeah his leadership and all that will be missed, but he doesn’t do a whole lot on the ice, he’s a easily replaceable defenceman. Time to get rid of him while he still has Value.

  2. McKenzie Blackwell's stat's are better playing with the Avalanche. He isn't getting bombarded with shots. Colorado plays in the other team's end. The defense can clear their own zone.

  3. I could see Gushchin being a throw-in to sweeten a deal. Maybe Ferraro, Gushchin and a 3rd to acquire a young RHD?

  4. With the prospect video yesterday, earlier today friend of locked on sharks Will Scouch posted a film room video of Quentin Musty, it’s up on the scouching YouTube and a good watch

  5. You have 50 contracts on the books. 2 are junior exp.

You have to have players move on to open up space for the next player being new draft picks or someone in free agency/trade.

A lot of the 22 RFA/UFA are going to need to find a new home.

  6. Definitely time to move on from that group of aging prospects aside from maybe Guschin. All the other guys look like AHL journeymen or fourth liners at best which we have in spades. Maybe you package up Bords or Guschin with a pick and try to get something in return.

  7. Walman is not moving. If he continues the way he has he will draw a 1st at 2026 TDL from a stronger draft pool. I think Ferraro gets a better pick this year than next due to cost control. I wouldn't do anything with either of those guys this year w/o an EXTREME overpay.

Is far as the goalies not going anywhere: Georgiev is a perfect candidate to go to the ECHL.

  8. Nice video JD, got a fun what if idea for the podcast. MG is probably moving the Dal 1st round, but what if he instead floated his own 1st round out there? What kinda return we looking at? Not gonna happen buuuut maybe could happen in a so so draft?

  9. I still strongly feel that Kunin needs to be traded just to get him off the team. He's one of those guys that a lot of people look at stat lines for and think he's mostly upside, especially since he plays down in the lines. In reality, he's a liability who all but refuses to pass the puck, so he ends up with with more goals than he deserves, while his line mates have nothing to do but damage control as he produces terrible turnovers from trying to force his shot through.

Warsofsky, whom I still don't know if he's even aware he's only the coach right now to be a scapegoat, loves Kunin and plays him WAY more than he should, so I get to see a lot of this guy every time the sharks play. It's not that he doesn't have any skill. He's just selfish and incapable of making good decisions. Two things that have no place on a team that's rebuilding. The LAST thing we need is a young player looking at the favoritism this guy gets and thinking he knows what he's doing.

  10. If rangers are still out of contention by the deadline could we see the sharks try and snag K’andre Miller?

Maybe something like: Dallas 1st, Mario Ferraro, Thomas Bordeleau, Future considerations (Goodrow) for K’andre Miller + 2nd/3rd round pick.

  11. I think Zeterlund and/or Wallman only get traded for an young upgrade to the D core, (Nemec, Dobson, Byram type). As a Sharks fan that would be the only way either of those two players go out the door. As for the other vets I would be ok if any of them went as it would free up space to bring up some of the young kids.
