Myers crosscheck on Bouchard – Tough Call Recommendation

Tyler Myers crosschecked Evan Bouchard in the face. I don’t know else to say other than that.

  1. curious, what makes this cross check worse for u? id probably give the two players (mcdavid and myers) the same suspension, what made u add the additional game here?

  2. Such a pussy move, who uses his stick to crosscheck someone in the face when they aren't even being physical… just ab absolute gutless bag of shit.

  3. "GARLAND DESERVED 3 PENALTIES ON THAT PLAY."–Canucks Broadcast Analyst Ray Ferraro…..McDavid was attacked for 20 solid seconds in front of the refs BEFORE FINALLY retaliating…Bouchard did NOTHING to a much larger player and got cross checked in the mouth…There is no comparison.

  4. I say 5 games. Very similar to Rielly on Greig. After the whistle. The thing is I believe zmyers has been suspended before. 8 games is a lot.

  5. Tell me you're an edmonton fan without telling me. That's what bouch gets for taunting him. Watch him indicate to his nose right before. 😂 should talk shit about garland. Oils gonna think twice next time. Baby bouch got a little boo boo oh noooo.

  6. It is typical of the Oilers group. You want McJesus to get off scot free or even with an extended powerplay and you think Myers deserves 8 games? In my opinion what one gets they both should get. A cross check to the head delivered by Myers or McJesus is still a crosscheck to the head.

  7. @tough call: What do you think about that?
In my opinion guys should get different suspensions:
    – biggest suspension: Tyler. Hardest cross check right into the face and out of nowhere
    – second biggest suspension: Garland. Cross checking as well, just to slow, provoking the whole scene
    – lowest suspension (but still some games): McD. Being fouled for 13sec straight and simply is faster than Garland at the end

  8. Looks pretty clear that he was intending to crosscheck him high on the chest and then Bouchard's left arm comes up to try to defend himself, deflecting the crosscheck to the head/neck area. Should still be a suspension for crosschecking to the head, but don't agree that was his intent.

  9. Nothing aggressive on Bouchards part…. As far as Myers character, wouldn't try that with Reaves in Toronto, Oliveria in Columbus or Rempe in NYR….. Probably hide in corner, squat and whimper…
