I believe Hage can be a high end second line centre. 70-85 point type of guy.
knt cooking something good i's can smells it lol
You guys are all excited over Hage , while Liam Greentree drafted 26th overall has 92 pts in 52 games 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂ once again Montreal pays 3 pics to move up to draft an inferior player than the player available at their original 26th spot🤦♂🤦♂
Praising Hage when Greentree is a Garantee 1st liner🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
Another blunder from the habs scouts🤦♂
Demidov and Hage is one draft is unfair.
What sneaky moves ? Another failed reclamation project ?
Many trades by Hughes are aging really bad . Taking Reinbacher over Michkov and Leonard was a monumental blunder in a long list of first round blunders .
If we trade Evans to Toronto, it has to be against Matthews… Nobody else! 🙂 – No go!!!
Another big win for Laval today. Now in front of Rochester by 1 point. Go Rocket!
I think Montreal should genuinely give Hage a shot at making the team next year…Yes he will most likely return to the NCAA but he deserves a true shot.
No Zegras or Dobson…both soft, Owen Tippet, or Mason McTavish
and Winnipeg to your list 🙂
I'm one who sees Hage as a 1st line winger. He's gonna need to get better as a two way player to be a center, which could happen, but I think he'll be great offensively.
I don't like Hughes drafts but Hage was one of his best pick, if he was few months younger he will be definitely 1st pick in 2025 NHL Draft
If you want to be a real contender soon, Evans can't be your 3C.
Remember that this is only the NCAA.
Let Hage mature .. no rush rn
Can always trade late picks for vets on other teams management wants moving forward. Or for the season. Keeping Laval guys together for the season.
He was on a whole other lvl in that 3rd period against Minnesota
Hage is not coming at least till 2026 that being said I dont see him as 2C right away, so we need to get 2C quickly. Who is available?
Lots of talk on a 4th line player
Man, I just want a young Phillip Danault but who can constantly put up around 25ish goals a season and shows up extra hard in the playoffs. Basically want a new Pleks lol.
It's amazing what people can do once they believe and have trust in their capabilities…no matter what that skill may be. This is what's happening with Hage. You can see them develop, grow. They try something different, test themselves and their limits. It is fun when you can witness the transformation. Particularly with those who are very talented. Self belief has made marginal players great and skilled players marginal. It's why I believe in taking time to develop kids.
I see Hage's peak as a 2nd C but that it will take some time to get there including time in Laval, Demidov right away will be 2nd or 1st line winger
You know what, I think that Hage will become a 2nd line center at his draft +2 year, I said it.
I think Kents doing fuck all enjoying his vacation, we all think this guy gonna bring us something but it aint gonna be anything good.
Owen Beck will be are 3c and possible 2c
Here are the salaries of the top 7 highest paid 4th line centers in the league:
$5.10M Red Wings J.T. Compher
$4.45M Canadiens Christian Dvorak (currently)
$3.25M Blues Radek Faksa
$3.00M Oilers Adam Henrique
$3.00M Golden Knights Nicolas Roy
$2.80M Hurricanes Jack Roslovic
$2.40M Maple Leafs David Kampf
If Jake Evans is to make $4.5M, there is no way a team can place him at that salary as a 4th line center. Even with let's say a 20% raised salary cap, that number is still too high. And even as a 3rd line center, at $4.5M he'd be the 10th highest paid 3rd line center in the league.
I love Jake Evans. But I know he's a 4th line center that can be a good 3rd line center on occasion.
But there is no way he is a top 10 3rd line center in the league.
