What happens if Canada beats Finns and Sweden beats U.S. who plays U.S. in final?
In a game where everything else is equal it then comes down to goaltending. Binnington is an average goaltender at best where as helly is world class. Big mistake by Canada management. Not enough net drive and jam from the Canadians so far.
There is a reason Lowry hasn't fought a Tkachuk… and it's not because Adam isn't willing.
Good morning ☕️ Connor, Lyss and Jacob
It was awesome to be there but tough to watch.
Jacob has a questionable opinion on whether player 55 can handle "physical play." So far, the Jets have faced two teams that exemplify this style: Minnesota and Boston. In those four games, player 55 has recorded four goals and two assists. Those four goals were scored against his Team Canada GM club team, Boston. This performance indicates that he is capable of handling physical play.
When it comes to goaltending, Canada relied far too much on pedigree instead of looking at which goalies were actually playing well right now. Yes, Binnington has won a cup, but that was almost 6 years ago. He's not at that level, consistently, anymore.
Logan Thompson and Mackenzie Blackwood should have been on this team.
The Tkachuk goons, raised by Jaba Tkachuk. Absolute disgrace to the NHL. Everyone who participated in that disgusting display of unsportsman-like conduct should be kicked out of the tournament. This is one of the reasons hockey is such an unpopular sport, especially the NHL. The Tkachuks are butt hurt because they were booed. Oh boo, hoo. It took ZERO brain cells to do what these goons did to start the game. The NHL = The Neanderthal Hockey League. Acting like a bunch of knuckle draggers. It is the only professional sport, outside of boxing or MMA of course, where this kind of things is considered okay.
