  1. I am with you Eddie on the ties. Always hated them growing up because nothing was resolved.

How the NHL is resolving it is up for debate, but i am glad the "tie" is gone.

  2. Kempe plays D more than fans realize. Nearly every game since last season.

Kings on the power play don't have a right handed forward shooter on the left side. They adjust by sliding the single right handed D left.

Once that D moves left, Kempe moves up to cover the right point D.

Part of the reason Kempe's goal production is down from a few years ago (shots are further out as opposed to the right wing spot), but Kempe covers the right side point at least once or twice every game.

  3. lol you said I could comment as much as I want . I agree %100 about Fiala , I think the main difference the last 3 years in the post season was simply hunger and fitness , yes Edmonton has mcdavid draesetl etc. however the games Edmonton won they out worked the kings as whole. I think Fiala is the closest thing to ziggy palfy and such an amazingly magical player . And if the kings could just be as hungry as the oilers ,the kings could beet them .

  4. OMG, Eddie, why did you read that sexist letter. Unqualified men get jobs every day including in sports all the time. Everyone knows how it works: its not what you know its who you know. Rare slip, Eddie.

  5. What is kempe's next contract with the kings going to be . He needs to retire a king. I think lowest nunver will be fialas contract at least 6.75 but i think he'll get around 7.5 to 8 millions annually for at least 5 years. Whats your prediction eddie?

  6. Brock Faber at 22, making this very solid American lineup is pretty impressive. His best years are ahead of him. As for the trade, well, when the organization isn't developing any snipers, then they must move those type of pieces to get one. It is what it is. Seems like both players are doing just fine.

  7. Bring in A true superstar to play with Kempe.

Kempe is gonna get a hell of a raise since the last 3 years was an insane steal!

  8. Faber for Fiala wasn't a straight up trade, the Kings also gave up a highly prized 1st round pick as well. Now many Kings fans will try and devalue that 1st by stating it wasn't Top10. That's of no consequence as you still get value picks in the 1st round all the time. My belief is, primarily offensively skilled without as much defense players can be picked up during the offseason all the time. Another rumor thrown about consistently to justify the trade was that Brock was never going to sign with the Kings. Faber himself has shot that down in interviews stating he was surprised by the trade. What is a fact though is, the Wild were in cap hell with two of their ex players soaking up like 15 million of their team's cap at the time Blake made the trade and he was bargaining from a position of strength but as all too often is the case with Blake's high profile trades, he made the trade quite one-sided in the other team's favor when said and done. Most Kings fans see the trade as a win primarily because this team has been starved for offense for forever so Kevin adding his offensive numbers is a god send in their eyes.
