Yea but he isn't worth half of his contract. The offensive capabilities are not there, not that he's a bad player, but he's not a 6mm dman, and he's not our number 1. Not our 2 or 3rd best
Shocked? I would be relived if they traded Jones. Imagine what we could do with that much money to spend on. If he had a team friendly contract then he could stay but because he has a max contract and is not worth the money. If you can get him out of Chicago go for it. I don’t care if it’s a 7th round pick. If someone wants him, go ahead and trade for him.
I couldn’t stand that contract when they signed it, and I never understood why they brought him here in the first place. He’s not an elite two way defender who can lead a top D pairing

What hockey are you watching? It is 100% his playing. He is slow. Gives up turnovers all the time and is horrible o nthe penalty kill.
