I don't like giving up Kupari. We have a bunch of old/slowing centers. You need a guy who has overwhelming speed. He's currently low cost. The Jets are gonna slow down in 2ish years when the core starts aging. This win now mode doesn't. The Jets will threaten their future so they can go from having a 14% chance of winning the cup to 17% chance(at absolute best). Every one of these win now trades will be another year where the jets dont' make the playoffs in the upcoming rebuild. You have to save your youth and draft capital.
Stupidity strikes it's head again. Another old man to take the spot of a rising young player. We have brought in Matt Heinrichs a few times already so why don't we go for him again. He would be just as useless as the rest of the players you say are the saviors of the jets. Right at the beginning of the year they could have given some rookies a chance. Scheifele was not a star the second he stepped on the ice. It took him some time to become a good player.
I strongly feel no rentals. Our forward group is good. Just a depth defenseman. We can't dismiss the fact that all our guys who don't accumulate a lot of points gives us hard forechecking n hustle.

We have it all, don't mess with the chemistry, Stand pat and hang on to assets. Veteran D maybe to cover for Stanley
