  1. Thank you for your contribution to the world of creativity. Your videos are always top notch.🚌🐰🍓

  2. They were consistently strong, but they tried to extend their cup window for so long that they crashed and burned and will be stuck in rebuild for at least another 5 years.

  3. The Sharks of the 2000 to 2018 were just a team that guaranteed of a playoff run. unfortunately Wilson handed out no movement/no trade clauses like candy at Halloween. Look at Vlassic still on the team with a bad contract. Hopefully the new hire ups can manage contracts better.

  4. San Jose back in their glory was always was the bridesmaid but never the bride. They were always so close but for one reason or another they could never quite get over the hump.

  5. Being an East coast fan of this team has been very frustrating. I've never been angry or mad at this team though. Never felt like they didn't achieve their goal, even though they never have. I would stay up late and watch their playoff runs as a kid with the volume off so I wouldn't get in trouble. No matter what game I would watch, they always lost. Even if they won that series, the game I saw was one where they lost. I've been watching this team lose for 25 years.
Macklin Celebrini got me back into the NHL again. To be honest, that dude at the draft screaming for the sharks got me pumped. I just happened to turn it on and this guy got me fired up because he was so fired up. I think this team will win a cup with Celebrini, Smith, and Askarov. Their issue has always been the lack of a clutch goalie. They've had very good ones, but never one that came up big when you needed it.

  6. Thank you for this. Almost brought a tear to my eye going over this history. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for my team. Haven’t been this optimistic about the Sharks in a handful of years. That cup is coming. In Mike Grier we trust

  7. Watching 4 nations, comparison of barkov and kopitar came up. Which 1 had/has the better prime so far? Is barkov on track to have a better prime than kopitar?

  8. Thanks for the video! Great info, details, and insights! Some spurts of greatness but overall a bit lackluster most of the time. C+ seems fair.

  9. San Jose had to be the best team without a cup. They were on such a run of being guaranteed a playoff spot and at the top of the Western conference / Pacific division. They have the unfortunate bad luck of running into some other really good teams, namely the Red Wings

  10. D should be awarded to sabres and cbj and F to yotes. When you can't hold a team for thirty years and had only one playoff run you fail the course literally

  11. Ah, a quarter centry of disappointment. 🤣
But seriously, to only miss the playoffs only once in the 2000's and 2010's in itself is quite surprising.

  12. 8:15 "That -lund line I thought was good enough that they probably keep it together for awhile." It's worth noting the -lund line was broken up about three weeks before the trade. Eklund moved onto the Celebrini/Toffoli line and Smith took his spot with Granny/Zetterlund.

  13. During there dominance of the early 00's they felt like the Blues back then, good enough to make the post season but either tripped by a lesser team or just not strong enough to challenge the triumvirate of Detroit, Colorado and Dallas out west. Always a very likeable team but never quite the full package. Hope they get back to relevance quickly.

  14. 7:00 I think the best Sharks team without a cup was 2014. Kinda the tail end of Thornton's prime, same for Marleau, Pavs was right in his prime, and Couture was coming into his own. The reverse sweep in the first round caused something in that room to die.
