Z should be double shifted on the PP. You see other teams do that with impact players. Z has the skills and vision to make both PP units better.
I would like to see Gibson get the trade. He has toiled here for so long with a bad team, he deserves a chance on a winning team. Just refer to the interview after his 200 win, he said he wished the second hundred was a fast as the first 100 wins. We won't get value, but the team owes it to him for all he has done over the years…
Does anyone else not like the new Duck’s goal song. The Offispring are cool but I haven’t listen to them since the 90s. I loved Bro Hymn, since it reminds me of the glory of 2007. If we change it, I like Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Team USA at the World Juniors and the Four Nations tournament have had that as their goal song and it’s awesome.
I believe both Edmonton and Carolina are dollar in/dollar out situations. I don’t know much b about Carolina but with Edmonton I would think Skinner would come back which is terrific. Already been through a long playoff grind and that particular growing pain is over.
Would love to see Gudas get traded. Trouba would be a great captain. Although I do wonder if Verbeek promised to flip him at the deadline.
Possible that Killorn was playing hurt at the beginning of the year? Father Time is undefeated but he seems solid now. He is too old to really matter going forward so whatever.
Cronin seems like a disadvantage for recruitment. I’m sure California taxes and the political hellscape don’t help much either. Weather is great though.
Verbeek needs to trade Strome. Addition by subtraction, it seems the only way to get him off the first line would be to trade him.
Zegras, Carlsson, McTacivish. You only need two centers in the top 6. Who do you think long term the winger should be? McTavish reminds me of Horvat. Carlsson is garbage now but if he projects to be kopitar I’ll take that. Zegras is a strong playmaker. I am not sure who I would move to the wing.
