  1. We were quite surprised by this report… Are you? Do you think he could be moved? Leave your thoughts below. ↓↓↓↓

  2. You guys are too nice, sooo diplomatic. Regarding Dach upping his game, I think it is wishful thinking on your part, Josh 'n Jesse.
Dach's on ice performance speaks for itself.
He's too soft overall. He lacks grit as well as hockey I.Q.
I've been watching every Hab game for the longest time and have only noticed him giving good hits on one occasion, in one game actually, recently against TB if I'm not mistaken (or was it NJ ?).
Anyway, I say let him go. I can't see him being part of an eventual Cup contending Habs roster, not even as a 4th line winger. His compete level is just not there.
    I say let him go.
While I'm on the subject, let go of Laine too ! …
Oh yeah, and we should definitely keep Evans & Armia, trade Dvorak, Savard and Matheson, and deal with Gally and Anderson when they become UFA's.
On another note, Evans & Scheife in the same locker room !!??!, are you nuts ? very bad blood !

  3. Dach is not worth the money he makes and absolute trade bait. He's a very average player and could fetch someone consistant down the road.

  4. Finally someone that looked at dach splits AND recognized what a knee injury is and how it takes time to recover. Thank you

  5. Kirby Dach wasn't part of the Core in Chicago either. You get what you paid for and I'm not surprised, there's some doubt surrounding his play.

  6. Québécois média always tries to cause problems with anglo players. In any case, Dach has to play with more urgency.

  7. Where Dach is at right now I don't believe the Habs would get a fair trade value for him. Maybe next season when they've had a better measure of him and he's also looking to increase his value by lifting his scoring to the level expected of him. Thanks guys.

  8. No one has been good the last 8 to 10 games, no one… Even Suzuki is throwing away his 82 points season again.

  9. It was a gamble but in a young rebuild, it was expected. It’s not critical at this point. If he doesn’t pan out, the prospects and increasing cap slows the team to go out and find an established replacement of better and more reliable quality

  10. Very disappointed you’re participating in harmful rumors. Dach and liane had knee injuries. Wherever the “Dach isn’t part of the core” narrative came from I’m fairly certain it wasn’t leaked by Habs management, they aren’t foolish and I somehow doubt Dach would make things like this public. So I won’t be watching your show. The shabby treatment of Habs players by the media goes back many years and have contributed to many a Habs player leaving town. This isn’t helpful.

  11. Dach is on an affordable contract and is a RFA after next season.

Acquire a 2C and move Dach to 3C or wing and allow him the chance to come back strong next season.

  12. Dach has major potential as a hockey player. I have seen him go zooming fast with the puck.
And then that crazy man on the other team pushed him onto the bench and his knee literally cracked in half

  13. It appears that the salary cap is going up over 100 within the next couple of years so $4.5 is a bargain to just keep for 4 years. Also Dach is cheap. Hard to come back from his injury in year one. Give Dach another year. Third line guy who is pretty good.

  14. WOO-HOO about this 'Dach news'!!!!! YES, YES YES 🥳!!! There's absolutely nothing about it that anyone should be surprised about. He's a huge minus hockey player, cannot make or finish a play or win a faceoff, and has been injury-prone his entire career back into junior. And I'm definitely NOT "disturbed" that HuGo has said he's not a core player on this team and are expecting better from him. I'm also not surprised that he didn't take it well. Because compared to players like Gally and Evans and even Anderson, they have more competitive spirit in their little fingers than Dach has in his entire body. I've said from the second the trade was made to bring him in that it was a brutal mistake by HuGo. THAT was disturbing. This news is actually very encouraging!! If it's an indication that HuGo has accepted that they made a terrible mistake to essentially give up Romanov and a pick for Dach, that's the BEST news for the Habs I've heard all year!!! And hopefully, they recognize the same about Newhook next!!!!! 😃🤞!

  15. Trade Dach, Dvorak, Newhook and Laine. Move Beck to centre on the third line and Evans to the second line. Call up Florian Xjekhai and Roy and sign a free agent power forward during the off season.
