Sunday, September 8, 2024 was an exciting day in Darien, CT as one of its own, Spencer Knight, a player for the NHL Florida Panthers team brought The Stanley Cup to his hometown. The Florida Panthers won the 2024 Stanley Cup Tournament and in keeping with tradition each player gets a “day with the Cup” at a place of their choosing. Spencer chose to bring the Cup to Darien and to host a townwide free event to come visit with him and the Cup.
