Laine is damaged goods. No future and poor value. Zero 5-5 value.
The only bad thing of Canada Sweden was the anthems. The Swedish choir was bad, and the Canadian singer was worse.
Until Laine can prove he can be a 200 ft player, I would not have resigning him on the Habs radar. Think he has the ability but has not shown much 5v5
Islanders aren't stupid
Hey guys! With the practice squad thing, I just wanted to point out that there is no official farm teams for NFL players so they need that sort of thing. In the nhl, your farm team is essentially your practice squad. We also already have extra roster positions for scratches which would be kinda the same thing too.
