  1. My quarter century team: G Osgood, Halak. D K.Jonsson, Hamrlik, Aucoin D Kasparitis, Malakhov, Boychuck. RW:Czerkawski, Satan, Moulson, Blake . LW:Parrish, P.A. Parrentau, Vacacheck, Horvat
    C:Barzal, Tavares, Yashin, Lapoint

  2. Thanks for the video! Great info, details, and insights! Islanders are toast this season and I agree with the grade of C maybe a C- though being out so long from a Cup it might be generous.

  3. I am too young to remember the good islanders of the early 80's so I always associate them with incompetent management and bizarre decisions

  4. For me this video brings to mind how many 1000 games is. It seems that Anders Lee and Brock Nelson have been there forever and ever and ever and neither one is really that close to 1000 games yet. Looking at the numbers of Bailey and Cizikas is an example of the one characteristic I associate most with the Islanders: how long they stick with players. Bailey and Cizikas were/are good players in their roles, but players of that type almost never play their whole careers or that many games with one team. But the Islanders, you do what's expected and you have a lifetime job. I keep waiting to hear that they just traded to get Anthony Beauvilier back.
